Welcome to New Prospect Elementary, an award winning school! At NPE, our theme is “Catch the W.A.V.E. (Wildcats Achieving Valuable Education)”. We all believe the theme is reflective of our belief that learning should be student-centered and that students will find value in all that they do here at New Prospect Elementary. Students are taught to be 21st Century thinkers through academics and through the arts.
As we are approaching the end of school, I would ask that you refer to the attached May calendar for all of the information you will need for the end of the year, including dates and times of awards ceremonies. We are working hard to prepare for the PASS (Palmetto Assessment of State Standards) in grades 3-6 that will take place the week of May 6. Students in grades K-2 will also take MAP (Measures of Academic Process) May 12-29. Thank you for helping your child prepare for end of the year assessments by having your child eat a good breakfast, arriving to school on time, getting a good night’s rest, and having all materials for class. Together, we as a community prosper when we all work together. Your support means so much to all of us.
Should you need anything, please feel free to contact me at 864-592-1970.
